The best way to procrastinate is to write poetry

Pipette tips line up in perfectly neat rows
Standing at attention and ready for action.
Regimented commands read and re-read
From neat black letters in crisp white sheets.

Thoroughly visceral and decidedly cognitive
The protocol is well thought and acted-out:
110% effort required for a 50% yield
At 95% humidity and 37 degrees.

Turning pages of our protocol
Turn into round cells in wells
Turn into green, blue, and red dots
Turn into excel percentages
Turn into bar graphs
Turn into statistical significance
Turn into knowledge.

And for my next transformation?

Turning in the Mod 2 report.
